Brittany Schreiber is a dedicated School Psychologist currently serving students in Grades 3-5 at an elementary public school, where she provides psychological support to promote both academic and emotional growth in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Brittany is also a PsyD student in the School-Community Psychology Program at Hofstra University, where she actively participates in the Positive Psychology Clinic. She earned her Master’s in School Psychology from Long Island University in 2023, demonstrating academic excellence and a deep commitment to student mental health.
Her academic journey began at Hofstra University, where she earned honors in a double major in Marketing and Management. This unique background in business and management has honed her ability to navigate complex situations, foster teamwork, and approach challenges strategically—all of which she applies to her work in both psychology and education.
In addition to her role as a school psychologist, Brittany serves as a Professor of Psychology 101 at Suffolk County Community College, where she introduces students to fundamental psychological concepts and encourages them to critically engage with theories of human behavior. Brittany’s teaching style emphasizes active learning, real-world application, and creating a classroom environment that fosters student curiosity and self-discovery.
Beyond her work in psychology, Brittany is the Lead Yoga Teacher at Yoga Six Lake Grove, where she combines her passion for mindfulness, physical wellness, and mental health.
